Leila's not great at selling herself. But she can sell pretty much everything else. Discount groceries. Insurance. A tiny island. Even Christmas.
She’s been selling her whole life in fact.
In Kindergarten, she started her first small business, designing title pages for her peers, in exchange for bags of crisps. Leila sold everything from roasted chooks, cinema tickets and cameras to get herself through design school. Before selling her soul to advertising, she peddled her photography while living in Dubai, Hong Kong, Santiago and Sydney.
In over a decade of advertising, Leila has helped make award-winning work for Audi, Harley, Uluru Tourism and a lot of life insurance. But perhaps the work she’s most proud of selling is an overcooked ALDI Christmas, the Off Season in Tasmania, and a behaviour changing campaign to help end child sexual abuse.
Most recently, Leila sold up her Sydney life (and her winter wardrobe) to embark on a new adventure, this time in Singapore.
Her creative ideas, art direction and a pretty mean banana bread are now up for grabs. Leila is available for Singapore-based or remote contract work.
